Road pictures seemed the exclusive domain of the male movie star – until a little flick called “Thelma & Louise” came along.
Now, three more gifted actresses are hitting the road in “Bonneville,” a film which drove past most theaters to make its DVD debut this week. Hanging around with Jessica Lange, Joan Allen and Kathy Bates can’t be a bad journey, right? “Bonneville” strains that belief but still has its pleasures.
