What’s next, a skin care infomercial?

August 1, 2008

Not too long ago, Freddie Prinze, Jr. was headlining major motion pictures. Now, he’s spending his days chatting up beefy wrasslers – from a new press release:

Freddie Prinze, Jr., a long-time fan of World Wrestling Entertainment(R), has joined WWE(R)’s creative team.  Prinze, Jr. will now have a behind-the-scenes role contributing to USA Network’s ratings powerhouse, WWE Monday Night RAW, as well as WWE’s weekly television and pay-per-view programs.

As a matter of fact, yes! As well as: Head Over Heels, Down With You, Boys and Girls, Scooby Doo…well, you get the idea; seriously, has any “lead” performer has a more negligible movie career this decade?

Ken – well put. He had his chance for a sustainable film career – a chance most of his unknown peers would kill for. Now, it’ll take a really gutsy career move to get himself back on track.

I liked Scooby Doo! It´s not Citizen Kane, but it filled my monthly quota for sweet-natured silly fun just fine (Oh , what the…the real reason is Sarah Michelle Gellar)

wf — honesty … I like it. Yeah, the ‘Doo’ films were more or less what the doc ordered. Can’t expect Citizen Kane from a kiddie cartoon blown up for the big screen.
