Arquette’s career-changing ‘Song’

Chatted with Rosanna Arquette recently in connection with the DVD re-release of “The Executioner’s Song.”

And no, I didn’t ask her to confirm if she was the inspiration for the ’80s Toto hit “Rosanna.” Chickened out, I’m afraid.

Still, our conversation revealed the anxiety even established actresses like Arquette have once they cross the 40 year old mark. She seemed eager to find more acting gigs these days, though she still works with some regularity. Often, she pops up in projects tied to her extended acting family – like a turn on her sister-in-law Courteney Cox Arquette’s show “Dirt.”

My Washington Times interview shares how Arquette got up close and personal when shooting “The Executioner’s Song.”

Sounds like a good straight to video title … maybe they can get one of the anonymous bit players to return!
