If Ferris ISN’T the best character to come out of the ’80s, I’d like to see who is … a film that actually grows in greatness every time you watch it.

Although I constantly call him “Ferris”, he was truly great in a lot of movies after FBDO.

Ferris Bueller is the best character invented in the 1980’s. Good on Broderick for working his rear off to being more than a one-hit-wonder.

Watch “Ferris” again. He’s flat-out great in it. And other performances, like his work in “Election” are under-the-radar excellent.

True, when he’s off his game he looks pretty bad.

I guess that would mean it’s his best performance.
I have always considered him an awful actor, but he has an endearing quality so I forgive him.
