An ‘Echo’ worth hearing

An ‘Echo’ worth hearing

One of the perks of this blog is getting to know a whole bunch of folks I never would have met otherwise.

Opus. JIC. Don S. Tink in Cali.

I know, I haven’t really ‘met’ the people who comment on my site, but I feel like I know something about them. Their movie tastes. Their writing chops. Their senses of humor.

One of the best frequent posters is James Frazier who runs his own movie blog, Whispers of a Cinematic Echo. Check out his latest review — Oliver Stone’s “W.” It’s a great read, utterly fair to the subject matter, thoughtful and, dare I say, prescient.

A quality writer – and he’s only 24. Makes me feel old … and envious!

Thanks for the shout out (I’ve enjoyed meeting you too) and the link to James’ site. He is a great writer and an impressive thinker. Oh to be all that AND 24 – lucky duck.

Christian, you’re far too kind! Thank you so much for the mention.

And Tink, thank you as well. I’ve tried my hand at this film reviewing thing for a couple years now, and it’s always great to know you’re being read. I’ve met a lot of fantastic people through this little hobby/quasi-profession of mine and can’t imagine my life without it.

Thanks, Christian.

You’re right about James Frazier, he’s a pretty good writer. He reminds me of a less grumpy James Bowman.
