I think the reason we all appreciate the art of bitchery is that it is kind of like a superpower. The ability to respond instantly with a devastating riposte is something we enjoy watching because most of us don’t think of it until later (l’esprit d’escalier).
That would make for one heckuva superhero movie! I can see Wanda Sykes in the lead …
