We don’t need no stinkin’ subtitles

Maybe my Dad isn’t the only one who refuses to watch movies with subtitles.

The new vampire flick “Let the Right One In,” a Swedish tale of a young vampire girl and her beau, is already being Americanized by Overture Films for a 2010 release. The director? “Cloverfield’s” own Matt Reeves.

I can’t imagine American audiences not being able to sift through the subtitles here. It’s a stark, compelling story that has enough bloodletting to satiate most stateside film goers.

Or so I thought.
