I don’t cry at movies.
It’s not out of any pseudo-masculine posturing. I’m just a tough one to drag tears out of – unless the Yankees blow a three-game lead against a certain Beantown rival.
The last film that made me cry was “Snoopy Come Home,” and in my defense I was about 9 at the time.
Until “Marley & Me.”
The new film, opening Christmas Day, is the screen adaptation of the wildly popular book detailing the “world’s worst dog.”
Will file my review Dec. 25, but suffice to say a tear or two leaked out during the film’s finale.

Any movie involving cute animals and characters will involve me with my Puffs tissue box.
I cried several times just out of the shear cuteness of Wall-E during the film.
I am an emotional sucker for cute.
I’m the opposite, Jenny … so I can’t imagine the waterworks when you catch up with “Marley!”
The last film that made me cry or at least had me fighting back tears and squirming in my theatre seat was Ponette. And that happened maybe a minute or two into the film – the child actress was that unnerving.
But I usually don’t cry during films, so I’m really curious about this one!
