Blatant plug alert!
Will be a guest on “The Dennis Miller Show” tomorrow (Dec. 12) for some timely Oscar banter. The Golden Globe announcements have been made, and most of the heavy favorites are either in theaters now or about to storm a movie house near you.

I remember when Miller was hosting his HBO show, and he made some predictions for the 1998 Oscars. His prediction for Best Picture was: “unless the whole Academy is gay, it’ll be Saving Private Ryan.”
Of course, Shakespeare in Love won instead. But I think that proves Miller right.
