The Golden Globes … three lingering thoughts

The Golden Globes … three lingering thoughts

  • Mickey Rourke thanked his dogs in his acceptance speech … brilliant!
  • Kate Winslet put on a dress rehearsal for Oscar night with her acceptance speeches. Easy, Kate, A-listers aren’t supposed to look too excited about winning a Golden Globe. It’s beneath you.
  • Finally, someone recognizes Colin Farrell for uttering the best film line of 2008 – “they’re filmin’ midgets.”

I agree about Colin Farrell i thought ‘In Bruges’ was one of the best movies last year it’s nice to see it getting some praise.

Yeah, a true sleeper … I would gladly watch it again. Some movies catch you by complete surprise – in a good way.

here i thought Mickey Rourke would never show up in public again, and there he was, winning big at the Golden Globes
