At this rate, “The Path to 9/11″ won’t be available on DVD by Christmas ‘09 … if it ever comes out at all.
The film, a two-part ABC miniseries, came out three years ago and earned healthy ratings. But Disney, specifically Disney chairman Rober Iger, contends it’s a business decision as to why the company won’t release the movie on DVD. Borelli says Iger’s liberal politics is dictating his actions.
The film was seen as highly critical of the Clinton administration’s actions in the lead-up to the 9/11 attacks.
Disney shareholder Tom Borelli won’t give up the fight.
He recently addressed the Disney board and claims Iger dropped the “F-bomb” on him (see clip below for Borelli’s statement to the board). Iger contends an extensive analysis reveals releasing the movie on DVD won’t make money.
Let’s get this straight. Some of the worst movies ever made come out on DVD, but Disney won’t release “Path” for fear it won’t make a profit.
Just. Doesn’t. Compute.
Borelli told WWTW Disney has “a very good spin machine.”
He also wondered why Disney didn’t release the letter it sent to Lionsgate, a company Borelli said inquired about buying the distribution rights to “Path.” And why won’t Disney release the results of the research it did that concluded any “Path” DVD wouldn’t make money.
Citizens United created a compelling documentary about the controversy last year.

Anybody with the brain matter to read or compose anything longer and
deeper than a 4-word text message fully understands that we are in this
war on terrorism mess today precisely because Bill Clinton was too busy
chasing strange tail in the White House instead of recognizing and
addressing all the looming terror threats during his pathetic eight years in
office.
Instead of all those trembly-lipped “I feel your pain…” speeches, what he
should have been doing is inflicting on Special Ops pain on the ones who
continued to attack us over and over. The warning signs were there, and
clear to everybody except The Clintons, but, sadly, were completely
ignored in lieu of their liberal Socialist agendas (including forcing down
our throats that “Affirative Action” housing market policy that led directly to the economic meltdown we’re suffering through these days).
But, of course, you will never, ever hear any of this from the Loony Left
main stream media. All you will ever get is “Blame Bush, Blame Bush,
Blame Bush!”
Pathetic, simply pathetic…

It just amazes me that I can go online and order a DVD of a pornofied Sarah Palin impersonator with no problem, or a fantasy assassination of an in-office President, but if it makes the Clinton’s look culpable for something …
Indeed, it is telling when the production Green-light group seemingly actively shapes public perception in one direction, and one direction only, even for documentaries, which used to be considered balanced.
Keep the p.r. machine going for this one, T: validated, opposing points of view should be made available in a Democracy.
