Sharp movie blogger James Frazier chimed in to defend Nicolas Cage against a tidal wave of hate from movie critics:
I really can’t pinpoint just why so many people despise Nic Cage. It’s true that the man has made some terrible movies, but this is the star of “Raising Arizona” and “Adaptation,” for Pete’s sake. And who could forget his well-deserved Oscar for “Leaving Las Vegas?” I too wish he would ease back on the nimrod action roles, but the guy is a serious talent and has more than earned his spot in film history.

I think that Nicolas Cage really needs to tone it down with the crappy movies he has been in lately. He really needs to try some new stuff and actually go for some more serious roles than the ones that he has been playing for Disney which are not the greatest of roles. Lets keep our fingers crossed that he goes for something else next time. Only time will tell.
