- Billy Bob Thornton for his rude and unprofessional appearance on Canadian radio. He clearly doesn’t play the Hollywood game, and it actually adds to his rebellious image.
- Janeane Garofalo for her hateful rant on “Coundown with Keith Olbermann” – it burnished her bona fides with the Left, and no on in the non-conservative media feels like she has anything to apologize for.
- Steven Spielberg for “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Yeah, it’s a year later and I’m still grumpy the fourth Indy was the weakest installment … by far.

I am very curious about Janeane’s role on “24.” It seems a weird pick for someone so far, far, far to the left.
I watch it just hoping Jack will torture someone – and this season has been a real disappointment on that front.
I must say I was tortured out by ‘24′ … it became a storytelling crutch.
If Garofalo really believed her inane comments, she would have turned the ‘24′ gig down. Guess her principles took a back seat to a paying job.
Odd the only place touching her for the creative side is a TV show controlled by a bunch of “right wing nuts.”
1 and 2 are predictably dismissible, but ROTFL for #3 – and I agree!

Give BBT credit … he plays by his own rules. He still should be ashamed of that interview, even if he doesn’t go the friendly PR route of a rote apology.
