Zombies for $70??

Zombies for $70??

Director Robert Rodriguez famously began his movie career by making a film for a mere $7,000 – “El Mariachi.”

Horror upstart Marc Price is making Rodriguez look like Donald Trump.

Price’s first zombie picture, “Colin,” was shot for all of $70. Now, the buzz is building around the new film and the frugal British director behind it, according to CNN.

“Colin” is an extreme example of working cheap, but it’s also another sign that almost anyone can make a movie given enough technical know-how and some old fashioned ingenuity.

Duly noted, RichardOn … sadly, I’m the sole proprietor of this site and it takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to keep it updated. So I need whatever ad revenue I can glean from it.

Dying (no joke intended) to see this movie. Like the trailer too. But 70 bucks? Is that possible? It’d be $70 on the electric bill alone. But whatever – hats off to Marc Price for pulling it off. He’s making his dreams come true and for that, I applaud him.
