Lisa Kudrow seemed like the “Friend” most likely to stake out a big-screen career.
More talented than Matt LeBlanc, grittier than Courteney Cox.
But so far most of her post-”Friends” projects have gone straight to DVD … or obscurity.
Her most recent hit? “Hotel for Dogs.” And it’s a safe bed the pups had a bigger trailer.
It isn’t all her fault.
Her complicated turn in “Kabluey” proved one of last year’s more pleasant surprises even if virtually no one saw the movies during its theatrical release.
And she took time out to launch the knotty comedy series “The Comeback” for HBO.
Now, she’s co-starring in “Powder Blue,” destined to be forever called “The Movie in Which Jessica Biel Gets Naked.”
“Blue” bypassed theaters, too, and the early reviews have been all over the map. WWTW will be checking it out for Big Hollywood soon.
