Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper

Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper

Bradley Cooper

Mrs. WWTW is rarely impressed when I get to interview celebrities for this blog or other journalism gigs.

Who’s Kevin Spacey again?

But she perked up when I told her I was going to meet actor Bradley Cooper, the star of the new comedy “The Hangover.”

Hmm. I wonder why.

My interview with the affable actor is up over at boxoffice.com. And look for the WWTW review of “The Hangover” on Friday.

Nice fella. Smart and grounded and plenty of range. I’m sure that’s why Mrs. WWTW is such a fan.

My wife was taken with him, too, in that first season (or two?) of Alias. I was disappointed also when he left the show.

up until about a year i didn’t know his name i just remember seeing him in a lot of films as the friend or as a supporting role. The first thing i really noticed him in was ‘The Midnight Meat Train’ i thought he was good in that film. can’t wait for ‘the hangover’ it looks very funny.

Let me just say that Bradley Cooper is..hot. ;) Good interview, Christian..he does sound like a real down to earth guy.

Good interview Christian.

He was great in Alias — and awesomely creepy in Wedding Crashers.

The main thing I remember about him in Alias is that his teeth were pulled out – torture style, so I am always pleased to see his pearly whites present and accounted for in pictures and other roles.

He was so “awesomely creepy” in The Wedding Crashers that he has almost typecast himself for me. Everytime I see him in anything else, I think of what a turd his character was in that movie and I have to conciously overcome it and focus on the current role.

(Is “turd” allowed in comments? It is not profanity, just unpleasant.)

Turd is gold … no worries.

Feces? Fine, too!

He mentioned that he avoided “jerk” roles right after “Wedding Crashers.” Smart move.
