A week without movies

A week without movies

Many, many thanks to the guest bloggers who filled in for me over the past few days. Their contributions made taking a blogging break so much easier.

Some random thoughts from my vacation:

  • A week without seeing a movie is not a good thing.
  • Didn’t think the rom-com genre could get much worse, but the reviews for “The Ugly Truth” say otherwise.
  • A movie about talking guinea pigs scored more than four times the amount the latest Eddie Murphy kid comedy, “Imagine That,” made in its opening weekend? Say it ain’t so.
  • WWTW has a sneaky suspicion “Orphan” will have more chills than “Drag Me to Hell.” Call it a hunch …

PNC Park … gorgeous view of Pittsburgh – $20 seats with a great view of everything and a team that’s a Sanchez away from AAA.

You can’t rebuild by shipping away young-ish proven players for even younger unproven players.

PNC is a beautiful park i haven’t been there but i have seen footage of it and it looks great. i am a Giants fan and i think AT&T park i a great park for San Fran i don’t get there that often since i live in Washington State. the giants have good pitching now hopefully they get back on the winning track again…(i know this is a film blog but we can talk baseball…right?) lol
