A movie with a 4 percent approval rating on RottenTomatoes.com can’t be all bad, right?
“Miss March,” out on DVD today (July 28), comes pretty close to warranting that awful rating.
The film, from IFC’s “The Whitest Kids U Know,” operates on its own comic sensibilities.
That’s a kind way of saying it’s not funny.
It’s got the warped tastes of “Freddy Got Fingered,” the grossout punch of any college-themed comedy and the delivery of a bad MadTV skit.
Is that last item redundant?
A chastity obsessed teen (Zach Cregger) hits his head and slips into a coma. Four years later we wakes up and learns his similarly chaste girlfriend (Raquel Alessi) is now a Playboy Playmate.
Ol’ Hef himself shows up for a cameo, and when the 80-something Lothario is the only grounding element in a movie, you know it’s in deep trouble.
