Unlikeliest sequel … ever?

Unlikeliest sequel … ever?

Don’t you hate it when those Hollywood suits make a sequel to a film brimming with pedophilia, murder and dirty phone sex?

Oh, wait.

Todd Solondz, the man behind the bleaker than bleak dramedy “Happiness” is gearing up for that film’s sequel, “Life During Wartime.”

But since this is a Solondz production, it’s not a sequel in the purest sense.

The film, screening soon at the Toronto International Film Festival, features a new cast playing the sisters at the heart of the writer/director’s 1998 film.

this is a shock i remember seeing ‘Happiness’ and my first thought was this director is either a total wacko or a genius and i still haven’t decided which one yet. i just recently saw ‘Palindromes’ and it was even weirder all i gotta say is please bring back phillip seymour hoffman as the perverted prank caller.
