Eastwood: Warts and (mostly) all

Clint Eastwood’s journey from TV cowpoke to Oscar darling – with a stop at box office sensation the middle – is one of the most stunning transformations in Hollywood.

A new book based on Eastwood’s remarkable life only tells part of that story.

“American Rebel: The Life of Clint Eastwood” is a great way for Eastwood fans to trace the arc of his stunning career. But if you’re looking to go deeper into the soul of a movie legend, “Rebel” is only fittfully satisfying.

My review in The Denver Post shares more about the new book, available in bookstores now.
