Paramount Pictures is hoping so, as the studio is actively considering producing a sequel to “Paranormal Activity,” the out-of-the-blue horror flick that cost $15,000 to produce and has sold $62.5 million worth of tickets so far domestically.
“We have the rights on a worldwide basis to do ‘Paranormal 2′ and we’re looking to see if that makes some sense,” Paramount Chairman Brad Grey said in an interview today.
Pathetic.

Blair Witch 2: Book of Sucking all over again ;(>…
You mean you don’t see the merit in producing an overblown, bloated, ill-conceived sequel that explores the backstory behind the activity in the home. Maybe it was an Indian burial ground, maybe it was Satanists, WE WON’T KNOW UNTIL PARAMOUNT TELLS US!!!
But seriously, Blair Witch 2 was the worst movie I’ve ever seen.

Whoa…I don’t know how I doubled my comment. Sorry about that.
You were so angry you had to post twice … no harm in that!
And I blame myself – and every other movie goer – for rushing to see sequels which don’t deserve to see the light of day in the first place.
Count your money. Balance your ledgers … and move on, folks.
Naysayers. Who wouldn’t line up to see “Paranormal 2: Electric Boogaloo?”
