Being a film critic means getting a reserved seat at the cineplex nearly every time out.
Sweet.
It also involves sitting through some atrocious movies without being able to leave mid-film.
In that vein, consider Moviefone’s list of the 40 Worst Movies of the Decade – you can skip to the top 10 if you’re impatient like me.
Hard to argue with any of the selections, although my gut tells me “88 Minutes” should be at the top – or the bottom – of the heap.

I would take off “Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector.” The movie is what it was intended, unlike Righteous Kill, 88 Minutes, Cat in the Hat, Land of the Lost or some of the other enormous flops.
I can agree or disagree but I have to say that this list is not all that off. Some other lists, to me, seem too easy for what they list. Picking films that are just popular to pick on but may not necessarily be that bad. This one actually seems fairly accurate. lol
I’m more surprised that “Pluto Nash” and “Battlefield Earth” were made in this decade. I’d have sworn they were 1990s flops. Same with “Freddie Got Fingered.” It’s been a looooooong decade.
And I’d like to know how the hell Chris Kataan, “Norbit” and “White Chicks” managed to stay out of the Top 20.
