Dialogue moments were making me cringe but before I could lose interest, along came a splatter. Or five. Or twelve. This movie, I believe, is destined to be a cult classic. Might depend on the Director's cut. I cannot forget the soldier/vampire scene in the building lobby. Absolutely ausgeseichnet! I totally agree.
