It’s not smart to get pumped up over a great trailer.
“Pineapple Express” had a killer trailer … but the actual movie was a bummer, man.
So WWTW is trying to hold back its enthusiasm for “Legion,” a new supernatural thriller.
The trailer is, to put it mildly, a blast.
But the film isn’t being screened for critics. That once meant the movie itself was a dud, but more studios are holding back films from critics.
That’s especially true for genre films like “Legion.”
The movie details mankind’s last stand against a swarm of vengeful angels. Seems God has lost faith in humans, and he’s set the Apocalypse in motion. It’s up to a feisty band of survivors to beat back the end of the world.
“Legion” stars Dennis Quaid, Paul Bettany, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Kate Walsh and Charles S. Dutton.
WWTW will catch up with the film ASAP after it opens and post the review here.
