Leave it to Movie Mom to pack not one but two zingers into her take on the star-heavy new rom-com “Valentine’s Day:”

  • “It would take less time to list the people who are not in this movie than the people who are …”
  • “NO MORE RACING THROUGH AIRPORT SCENES IN ROMANTIC COMEDIES” – and yes, she has every write to use ALL CAPS here since the cinematic cliche is so egregious …

The “running through the airport” scene is one of the most insufferable movie cliches in existence. Instead of racing through the airport to catch the person before they get on the plane, why not call them when they land, or take the next flight to catch up to them?
