Stop the (cyber) presses! Good reviews for a horror film

Horror fans are used to their genre getting pummeled by critics.

Let’s face it. Your average critic would rather sit through “The Young Victoria” than “The Last House on the Left.”

So it’s surprising to see the early raves for “The Crazies,” the horror remake opening nationwide tomorrow (Feb. 26).

WWTW is screening the film tonight and will post the review ASAP.

Let’s hope the film is worth the acclaim and not simply getting approval for embracing a critic-approved worldview.
