One product placement WWTW can heartily endorse

Raise your hand if you’re sick of seeing movies featuring blatant product placement.

Don’t we pay enough already for the movie ticket – not to mention the candy, popcorn and oversized Coke?

But tonight I saw one I couldn’t protest.

“The Joneses,” opening Friday, stars David Duchovny and Demi Moore as an attractive couple pretending to be husband and wife in order to sell products to their neighbors.

Keeping up with the Joneses. Get it?

Midway through, a character enters the couple’s bathroom and is greeted by … a Toto toilet. And this is no ordinary toilet, mind you.

Maybe this product placement stuff isn’t so bad after all.
