‘Dreamgirls’ director to oversee final ‘Twilight’ installment

The teen-friendly “Twilight” franchise just got a booster shot of class.

Bill Condon, who previously wrote and directed “Dreamgirls,” “Kinsey” and “Gods & Monsters,” will direct the final chapter of the “Twilight” saga, “Breaking Dawn.”

Left unsaid in the Summit Entertainment release is whether the story will be told in one or two parts.

“Twilight: Eclipse” hits theaters June 30.

Considering this film series is essentially about an elderly man’s relationship with an underage girl, it makes sense that it be directed by the guy who made a movie about Alfred Kinsey’s research.
