Top 5 Steven Seagal movie titles

Action star Steven Seagal is no longer a box office draw, and you’ll never see him take the stage to pick up an Oscar, earned or honorary.

But darn if he doesn’t make movies with some of the coolest titles around.

And, when you’re stuck watching movies with blander than oatmeal titles like “Edge of Darkness” and “Deception,” that’s no small praise.

So here’s WWTW’s top 5 Seagal movie titles – with no regard to their actual quality.

  1. “Half Past Dead”
  2. “Today You Die” (notice a theme here?)
  3. “Born to Raise Hell”
  4. “Kill Switch”
  5. “Exit Wounds”

Now if you could find out how many man-hours were spent thinking up the title of the movie vs. working on the script, they’d probably rank the same.

The Glimmer Man (sounds like a Liberace biopic)
Fire Down Below (I’m not even going there)

“Born to Raise Hell” belongs in the movie-title hall of fame.

It’s also one of my favorite songs by Motorhead.
