Coming this week to WWTW

Expect a crush of new movie reviews this week at WWTW to make up for my light blogging over the weekend:

  • “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” – The hipster comedy didn’t make much coin at the box office this weekend, and methinks the hyper short attention span required to enjoy the movie is one reason why.
  • “The Kids Are All Right” – This highly regarded indie features the best acting of any summer release – faint praise alert!
  • “The Switch” – Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman team up for this fertility comedy. I’m laughing already!

Funny Bateman’s career trajectory. He was a sitcom, super-cool, teen hunk in the late 80s, how he’s a neurotic semi-straight man in comedies.
