Top 5 Horrors: Indie horror veteran takes a stab at it

Actor Jed Rowen knows a thing or two about horror movies.

The tall actor with the signature chrome dome has starred in more than a dozen indie fright films, playing everything from a zombie to Johnny Lawman.

Rowen graciously shared his top 5 horror movie choices via Facebook – who says WWTW isn’t sociable?

“As you can see … I like the horror/comedy, dark comedy kind of horror movie. (Though “The Exorcist,” of course, ain’t no comedy),” he told me. Although it’s also clear he thinks Texas is a fine setting for mayhem.

  1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2” (1986)
  2. Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn” (1987)
  3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation” (1994)
  4. The Exorcist” (1973)
  5. Army of Darkness” (1992)
