Top 5 actors who should have their own reality shows

Those wacky Kardashians must be doing something right.

The E! network superstars have no tangible talent, be it juggling, tap dancing or horse wrangling, yet they’re collectively rich from their ubiquitous TV appearances.

But why should the curvaceous Kardashians hog up all the reality show terrain? Let’s build programs around folks with actual talent, like actors whose off-screen lives already sound as chaotic as the antics of Khloe, Kim and the gang.

So here are five actors who would make great reality show stars – assuming their careers suddenly fall of a cliff.

  1. Christian Bale: He’s handsome, combustible and frequently drops and adds weight when the film role demands it. He’s a natural for those 24/7 camera crews ready to catch a Dark Knight-sized meltdown. If the ratings slump, just interrupt him during a tense scene and … wait.
  2. George Clooney: Who wouldn’t want to live vicariously through the luckiest man on the planet? Each episode could feature a lingering close-up of his bed post with an on-screen counter tallying the notches.
  3. Charlie Sheen: Rehab, 9/11 conspiracy rants, porn stars and mountains of mysterious white powder. ‘Nuff said.
  4. Lindsay Lohan: The only thing more perfect than a LiLo reality show would be one where she and Sheen live under the same roof. A fella can dream, right?
  5. Watchers choice: Who do you think would make a great subject for a reality show?

LOL! Great idea for a post! These are all very good. I hope Christian Bale’s career doesn’t end in a reality show, however, if it does, I’m totally watching every minute of it.

My pick would be Steve Martin. I think he’s very clever and would like a camera to follow him around all day and pick up all the funny things I’m sure he says. Then again, I could find out that he’s not at all clever and just plays a clever guy in the movies. That would be severely disappointing.

Bruce Campbell. As someone who has met him more than once, I can attest that he almost always has something amusing to say, and unlike most actors he refuses to take himself, or his film career, very seriously.

Good, droll suggestions. The reality show formula appears set in concrete now. Why not follow an amusing fellow (or lady) who could bring real wit to the genre.

I hate reality shows, but I would definitely watch a Bruce Campbell reality show.

I think it would be fun to follow a character actor, or several, like Stephen Tobolowsky, as they did in a Starz special last year (wait-didn’t Ricky Gervais already do this on HBO?).

For train-wreck appeal, how about Angelina, Brad, the kids, and the entourage? I can’t even imagine what a circus their life must be.

Charlie Sheen thinks he’s already has a reality show. Sure, his memory of his brother Jon Cryer only goes back about eight years, and he’s not sure why Jon is called Alan sometimes, but Charlie’s used to that kind of thing by now.

Although I don’t consider reality shows seriously but I would like to have some fun watching LiLo in one.
And my choice will be – Sandra Bullock – she is a great woman and an actress (at least for me) :)
