Jones’ ‘Source Code’ – New spin on ticking time bomb scenario

What if you could relive a catastrophe over and again to prevent an even bigger calamity from taking place?

The upcoming sci-fi feature “Source Code” sets up that intriguing scenario. And if that isn’t enough a tease to lure you into theaters starting April 1, the film is directed by Duncan Jones of “Moon” fame.

The young director proved he could handle the complexities of the sci-fi genre with “Moon” while guiding one of the best actors around, Sam Rockwell, to yet another spirited performance.

“Source Code” stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Monaghan, two actors who seem thisclose to stardom. Perhaps “Source Code” will be the nudge they need.

I saw the trailer for this last week at the movies and it looks interesting. Will definately check it out to see how they handle the multiple overlapping time paradoxes that should be a staple by now.

Already put this one in my must-watch list. I got hooked even before seeing the trailer.

I wasn’t that excited about this movie until I saw that Duncan Jones directed it. I loved “Moon” and now I can’t wait to see it.
