Mephisto had a pretty busy weekend, apparently.
Who is Mephisto? Who knows? He’s a film fan who rushed to his computer after learning Amy Adams won the coveted role of Lois Lane in the upcoming “Superman” reboot.
He was so excited, in fact, that he shared his enthusiasm about the casting at Deadline Hollywood, The Hero Complex, Collider.com and ComingSoon.net. Each site features a post from him with a bullet-point rationale for the decision. He also noted the actress’ “perfect hiney” displayed during the “Night at the Museum” sequel in which she played Amelia Earhart.
I confess I noticed Adams’ posterior from that film, too, although I dig Mephisto’s use of the term “hiney.” It brought me back to third grade.
Mephisto’s walls may be adorned with posters for “Junebug” and “The Fighter,” two of Adams’ best films. Or, he’s an industry insider trying to nudge the goodwill meter on “Superman’s” side.
Either way, he (or she) is welcome to post those same comments here, hiney and all.

As to Mephisto’s point #4: Erica Durance (“Smallville’s” Lois Lane) has already got Amy Adams beat in that department.
The female rump has been much neglected in our present “booty-phobic” culture, dominated as it is by a monolithic cult of mammary correctness.
Only thing better than “hiney” is “dupa,” a Hunky fave. And, yes, Ms. Adams does a have some nice back (for a white girl
).
Mephisto is a character from Marvel comics. Mostly associated with Ghost Rider. Someone had to brandish the geek card.
You’ve out-geeked me, Eli. I feel shame!
Ha, if it makes you feel better your film knowledge would whoop mine. I hang with the comic book/geek crowd both online and off so that helps. You can probably guess at which movies I’m looking forward to the most this year. Good times.
